This weekend I was lucky enough to attend Relay for Life here in Vacaville. One of my sister queens, Mrs. Fairfield, had a team that we were apart of.. The Vicky C. Hope Foundation. The relay started at 9am on Saturday, and ended at 9am on Sunday. As I walked, I met so many awesome people. It was inspiring to see so many cancer survivors and so many still battling cancer. There were many different teams that showed up to help fundraise and do their part. In just 24 hours, Vacaville Relay for Life raised around $275,000! Cancer research is so important, and it is incredible that Vacaville could raise that much money to go towards it. It was an unforgettable weekend, thank you American Cancer Society for all of your hard work.
